“No devices found. Make sure devices are turned on and available to connect.”
You may encounter this message during the registration process, usually after there has been a minute or so of your phone displaying the message “Searching for Device”.
There are three main causes for this message.
- Cause #1: The device has not been successfully reset, or too much time has passed since it was successfully reset.
- Solution: Reset the device. Push and hold the reset button for 5–10 seconds before you begin the registration procedure.
- Cause #2: The device’s batteries are too weak to broadcast.
- Solution: Install new batteries and reset the device before you begin the registration procedure.
- Cause #3: The device cannot be found because the phone switched to cellular data during the registration process and did not reconnect to the Wifi Network.
- Solution: Put the phone in airplane mode, turn Wifi back on, and reconnect to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network before you begin the registration procedure.
